First launched in the early 2010s, the SD-Lyte carried a cage-inspired design — a nod to urban architecture, where form becomes function.
That’s how we brought in Seoul-based duo Salamanda for a live session at home, with a few friends exploring the space as the music unfolded. Artists moved freely, turning sensations into sound, layering rhythm into a collective experience.
To step into that environment was to be transformed by it.
The SD-Lyte was right there. It’s less about running laps, more about running ideas and communicating with the space around you. Know the frame, bend the rules.
Other spaces to explore? Our shops, online and offline. The ASICS SD-Lyte is available now at Slam Jam.
