A year after Marshall Monitor III, we tune back in.

We explored how Marshall headphones were able to make our heads a room of one, and we captured that feeling with photographer Idan Baranzani. It was about closing our eyes to listen deeper, tracing a line between technology and intimacy.

This new chapter opens them up again. For the Marshall Acton III, we stepped outside ourselves — into the room, the air, the shared quiet that sound fills. The compact speaker comes in an exclusive burgundy colorway, and it changes the atmosphere as much as it carries it.

Shot once more by Idan Barazani, the photographs follow his slightly unsettling yet magnetic style: cabins in the mountains, wooden walls, soft carpets, heavy sweaters, and pool sides caught in the last autumn sun, with people adrift in a soft, private season. Landscapes that mirror the speaker’s tactile presence: velvet tones, brushed brass, sound that fills the room like a light.

The Acton III is a speaker that listens back: turning sound into space, and space into sound.
