Nike
Nike continues to inspire entire generations of sportspeople with its high-performance products and storytelling in a motivational guise. The company takes its name from Nike, the Greek goddess of victory. The ACG line focuses on hiking-inspired and functional first products, perfect for mountains and extreme sports. Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman have created something more than an apparel brand, an ongoing cultural lifestyle. -
Oakley
Founded by James Jannard in California in 1975, Oakley began as a garage-run upstart in the BMX industry, selling accessories distinguished by highly innovative manufacturing techniques and materials. The brand’s uncompromising, industrially-innovative approach to performance accessories soon led it into the world of ski goggles and sport sunglasses where it revolutionized the performance and aesthetic standards of an entire industry with its avant-garde designs. Today the brand remains the undisputed market leader of design-driven sports performance, appreciated across entirely heterogeneous demographics, from kids of the streets of Paris to leading triathletes and Tour de France winners. -
SC103
SC103 is a New York City label by Sophie Andes-Gascon and Claire McKinney. Designing for other brands after graduating from Pratt, it was only natural for their collaborative relationship to form their own label in 2019. The brand seamlessly combines their creative strengths to produce unique garments and accessories that reflect their shared love for all things do-it-yourself (DIY). Among the brand's most sought-after and enduring creations is the Links tote, a handmade masterpiece crafted from intertwined loops of repurposed leather, available in a captivating array of contrasting and complementary colors. Balancing whimsy with practicality, SC103 offers sustainable, ready-to-wear fashion imbued with a heartfelt, handmade feel. -
sacai
Japanese designer Chitose Abe founded sacai in 1999, after spending years under the guidance of Rei Kawakubo and Junya Watanabe. Abe has become the face of the modern avant-garde Japanism, an hybrid style that breaks down the thin line between casual and formal-wear, creating a constructive design approach genderless and without strict lines. Most famous are the brand’s “spliced” garments that literally fuse together not just two garment styles such as the bomber jacket and blazer, but two entire cultural patrimonies to produce surprisingly wearable pieces of avant garde design.
