On the occasion of Milan Fashion Week, Slam Jam and Salomon present a new perspective through a site-specific installation designed by Andrea Belosi, taking over the Slam Jam flagship store.
A suspended moment inspired by the Metabolist forms of a future imagined in the past, where vision is captured through a tunnel-like perspective that allows the viewer to bend and merge with the silhouette itself.
The Salomon XT Evo display is designed to cut through the space with three extended arms. Positioned at eye level, the display functions like a telescope: the product is always the focal point.
Each vitrine presents the product in a museographic manner, treating the shoe as a timeless artifact. The purity of the display’s form, with its seamless glossy finish, emphasises by contrast the technical qualities of the shoe and the precision of its manufacturing details. The details are now the landscape. The particular is now the whole.
