Founded in 2011 by best friends Mike Eckaus and Zoe Latta, Eckhaus Latta is a bi-coastal avant-garde American fashion brand. In the short time since its found the brand has won enormous critical acclaim (including a solo show at the Whitney in New York) for its gender fluid “new downtown” aesthetic characterized by the use of unusually tactile found and deadstock materials, louche deconstructed tailoring and sophisticated colour palette.
