New Balance 1000 first landed on the scene in 1999. Hiding itself in the archives for the past 20 years or so, the shoe has recently begun a slow but unarrestable comeback. With its sleek silhouette and sculpted sole, the shoe mixes tech details and bold design with no frills. 
Collaborating with 3D artist Misha Notley, we reimagined its legacy for today’s world. Her photos and videos play with the 1000’s futuristic look, dropping the shoe into alternate worlds where reality bends a little. It’s part art, part product, and all attitude.
The New Balance 1000’s legacy isn’t just in its past. It’s a piece of the future, reimagined and ready for today.
