Earn Chen take on projects based on personal interest rather than as a business, distancing what is far from its socio-cultural philosophy. He started The Salvages as an archival platform, with his friend Nicolette Yip, where its' evident the love for vintage, rooted in 70s subversive culture. The "Manifesto" shoes recalls 80’s postmodern architecture movement called Deconstructionism. With the current fashion cycle, everything is moving so fast, so The Salvages aims to take the past as main pillar of the brand.
