Following her graduation from Central Saint Martins in 2014, Grace Wales Bonner founded her menswear, and now also womenswear, brand to put a modern and cultural approach. Bonner was born to a Jamaican father and English mother, two different cultures but both with an enormous background of social issues. In that sense, Bonner uses her clothes, as a tool, to represent a wide range of cultural heritages and identities, mainly connected to Africa's history. The British fashion designer creates a collection capable to connect different fields, such as sexuality in the 70s, oracles, shamans, and black excellence, from art to poetry. Bonner's polyhedric personality took her to collaborate with Dior and adidas.
